“Young people get the foolish idea that what is new for them must be new for everybody else too. No matter how unconventional they get, they’re just repeating what others before them have done.” ― Yukio Mishima

Memorial Day, we were reminded to think about, thank, and honor the men and women who serve our country. It’s only 34 days later. Have you thought about them since? Keep the people you are thankful for in front of you all the time. Don’t just consider those that mean the most to you on earmarked days of a calendar.

Invisible Children seeks to send a detachment of troops to train and assist regional armed forces to combat and eliminate the LRA. In their quest to find Kony, they will end up killing hundreds of child soldiers; the same children they want to protect.
The creators of the video surely have good intentions, but do not sponsor further bloodshed, do not fund the Ugandan military; instead help the people, so they can rebuild the lives they lost.
An enemy of the samurai would be cut down with a sword. We live in a different time. We need to use our swords in a different way. On the hate of one another…
During the One Year War, infighting between different Zeon factions and the Zabi family eventually led to the collapse of the Principality of Zeon and the Federation’s victory at A Baoa Qu. Had the MS-14 Gelgoog reached the front lines sooner, had Kycilia spared Gihren, had Char abandoned the vendetta as Casval Deikun, had Anavel Gato not allowed Amuro Ray to slip in at Solomon… However most tragic of all is the case of the Blue Giant.
Had Colonel M’Quve handed over the new MS-09 DOMs to Ramba Ral there is a good chance the operation to disrupt White Base would have succeeded and the Gundam would have fallen. This is evidenced by the damage Ral was able to inflict on the Gundam, despite the Gouf being vastly inferior to it. Even though he knew his chances of surviving, let alone succeeding, were next to none the Blue Giant sortied and succeeded in delaying the Trojan Horse at the cost of his life. Ramba Ral and several of his soldiers successfully invaded the ship, and finally when captured by Amuro Ray, he armed a grenade exploding in the Gundam’s hand.
Artesia and Casval’s memories of him were apparently happy ones.
Ramba Ral was killed in action on the 5th of November, Universal Century 0079.
